question about majesty's rest vanquish
so on guild wiki it says theres only around 40-80 foes here. now since the average rate is 100-120 per for that would only make the vq around 4-8k yet people have a set price of 20-25k. questions.
1. is the only reason this is a expsenive vq because of high damage from the bone dragons? 2.should i use on consets or personal cons (cupcakes, candy apples, rock canddies etc.) 3. im an imbagon what heros/henchies should i use for vqing this area. 4. if i were to make this into a service running this vq for money do that many people actully need it? |

The one and only reason. Ridiculously overpowered boss with a very large amount of health, who has an AoE hex that can insta kill 3 members of your party. Be prepared with interrupts. The article has good tips. A H/H team can do it, but be sure to have a good number of Candy Canes/Pumpkin Cookies just in case. I vanquished the area and hadn't specced to fight him, and I needed a lot. |

With most of his skills doing AoE damage, Pain Inverter should trigger alot if you and your H/H get clumped together. But even with a few well placed PIs it takes a few minutes (and a few resses) to take him out.

Rotscale can be H/Hed, I've done it myself. But it wasn't easy.
First problem is his company. A ton of undead on top of a hill, one next to another, making luring a single group out an amazingly difficult task. Also, several hard mode healers are always a problem. Second problem is Rotscale's health. He's a bloody grindstone! Once alone, he'll still take a LOOONG time to kill, and due to his damage abilities, you can still get people killed. Pain inverter has a problem: it's great for killing an enemy AoE damage dealer quickly, one one or two casts. However, Rotscale's health is so great that you hardly even see the bar move even with all the yellow 80s going up when he uses a skill. It will help, but trust me, you'll be using Pain inverter on recharge for quite a long time... |

2: I would recommend at least bringing some anti dp. I used 2 powerstones against that fat dragon o.o 3: RoJ smiter's are pretty darn handy because of the clumped foes and the fact that they are mostly undead. I suggest you use shelter as well, as in not to get completely wiped if ya party got high dp. 4: Well... everyone who wants to be a VQ of Tyria but I think the most common place in Tyria that people need help with is Lornar's Pass. Most I know, including me, did Majesty's alone. |

You play imbagon, get a BHA hero and rest are your favourite hero's, roj monks are good for damage though. Very easy vq, only rotscale takes a tad long to kill but he doesn't hit hard when dazed. Do remember that there's a spawn of ghost infront of the bridge when you walk up the stairs
Good luck |

isn't there some kind of shrine located right before Rotscale you can pay 200g or so to get your DP reduced? I also remember they have Frozen Soil so it's hard to rez there. Take out Rotscale last.

Rotscale is not hard and is completely hero/henchable. You just need to know what you're doing. Sure, deaths WILL happen under circumstances but you honestly should never party wipe against Rotscale if he is the last foe left uptop the hill.
Kill off the others first and make sure to bringDP removing items in case shit happens. ~LeNa~
